European Investment Bank Contributes to Moroccan Investment Projects


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The European Investment Bank (EIB) will loan Morocco a total of 440 million Euros to build a number of development projects, the bank said Friday. The first agreement was related to building a new road. EIB loaned Morocco a total of 240 million Euros for that Project. Vice President of EIB Philippe de Fontaine Vive signed the agreement, in the attendance of a number of Moroccan Ministers including Minister of Economy Nizar Baraka. The second agreement, worth 180 million Euros, were signed for a project to expand the electricity network. The project is set to be concluded in 2015. The third agreement, worth 20 million Euros, related to Morocco's water network.
