(MENAFN - Arab Times) n Egyptian expatriate sustained head injuries when a compatriot attacked him with a knife in Hawally over some old disputes, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
When the Operations Room from Ministry of Interior received information about an injured expatriate outside a caf in Hawally, paramedics rushed to the location with securitymen and referred the victim to Mubarak Hospital for treatment.
After receiving the treatment, the victim rushed to Hawally police station and lodged a complaint against the youth who attacked him, in which he specified that while he was inside a caf in Hawally, the suspect, with whom he was involved in some disputes, requested him to accompany him outside the caf for compromise.
However, the suspect attacked him outside the caf with a knife and fled from the location.
The victim provided securitymen with details about the suspect. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect.
Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen fractured his arm and finger during a quarrel with an Egyptian expatriate at a parking lot in Mubarakiya, reports Al-Shahid daily.
When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel, Capital securitymen rushed to the location and settled the quarrel.
The injured citizen was referred to the nearest hospital. A case was registered for investigations.
