(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) US President Barack Obama said Tuesday that he believes a deal is possible to avert the so-called fiscal cliff of austerity measures and tax increases, but insisted it must include tax hikes.
'I think that we have the potential of getting a deal done, but it's going to require what I talked about during the campaign, which is a balanced, responsible approach to deficit reduction that can help give the businesses certainty and help make sure the country grows,' Obama told Bloomberg television in his first interview since winning re-election last month, according to a report of DPA.
