(MENAFN - ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Southern Hemisphere Mining (ASX: SUH, TSX-V: SH) has added the experienced Paul McRae to the board as a non-executive director.
McRae is serving as nominee director for Lundin Mining Corporation (TSX: LUN, OMX: LUMI) where he currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Projects.

McRae brings more than 35 years of international experience in engineering, construction and management roles in mining and other industrial projects. He has managed complex projects with capital exceeding 1 billion for both owners and contractors.
The Llahuin Copper/Gold Project
Southern Hemisphere is progressing its flagship Llahuin Project in Chile via a US35 million farm-in deal with the US3B capitalised Lundin Mining Corporation (TSX: LUN), with Southern Hemisphere also completing a US5 million share placement at a 47% premium to Lundin.
Importantly, the initial joint venture budget provides for an accelerated drilling campaign at Llahuin, where Lundin can earn a direct stake of up to 75% over a six-year period.
