(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti ruled out the option to reduce rate of the European single currency the euro in order to put an end to debts of the European countries.
During an interview with Monti on television, late on Monday, he said "Theoretically, I don't mind reducing the euro but it's impossible to carry out" such a measure.
He also added that the European countries need more investments, should focus on the European Common Market to develop the economies of the regional countries and resolve the economic crisis all over Europe.
Monti, elaborating on his perspective as how to tackle the European monetary crisis, expressed his blief that states of the continent should seek to spur investments, liberalize the European market and speed up process of unifying the European banking and finance auditing system.
