Saudi Arabia keen on upgrading trade exchange with Algeria


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Saudi commerce and industry minister Tawfeeq Al-Rabee'a said Tuesday Riyadh was keen on upgrading trade exchange with Algiers. Al-Rabee'a, speaking to reporters shortly after arrival in Algiers' airport for Saudi-Algeria committee meeting, said Saudi Arabia sought to creat a constructive cooperation atmosphere with Algeria in all domains, primarily trade exchange. He said trade exchange increased by four-fold over thepast five years to reach USD 399 million. Algeria imports plastic and petrochemical materials, paper and pharmaceuticals from Saudi Arabia.
