(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested recently for attempting to kidnap his wife from her family home in Salwa and shooting at securitymen, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Kuwaiti citizen that his brother-in-law barged into his house armed with a gun and tried to kidnap his sister, who is the suspect's wife, securitymen rushed to the location.
The suspect tried to resist arrest and shot at securitymen but the latter managed to control him.
He was arrested and referred to Salwa police station for necessary legal action against him.
