(MENAFN - ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Altura Mining (ASX: AJM) associate Lithium Corporation has started drilling at the Fish Lake Valley lithium, potash and boron prospect in Nevada.

This is focused on an area where anomalous lithium, potash and boron brine mineralization was discovered in 2011.

Lithium said the drilling is designed to delineate zones that may be conducive to the formation of a "Silver Peak" style lithium brine deposit.

Altura had acquired a 15% stake in Lithium to gain exposure to the Fish Lake and San Emidio brine based lithium and potash targets.

Drilling is also expected to start this quarter at San Emidio.
