Saudi- Bahra Cables signs USD106.52m supply contract


(MENAFN) Bahra Cables Co. CEO, Talal Idriss, stated that the company inked a USD106.52-million supply deal with Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC), reported Arab News. Idriss said that under the terms of the deal, the company would provide low and medium voltage cables to the national electricity firm next year. He added that the company, an affiliate of Construction Products Holding Company (CPC), supplied its cables to many vital projects in the Gulf and Africa, including the airport project in Senegal, Metro Al-Mashaer in Makkah, the new King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah, the expansion of the Holy Mosque in Makkah, Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University for Girls in Riyadh, King Saud University and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Recently, the company opened its plant for the production of PVC, which helped to cover Bahra's consumption of plastics in order to achieve the highest quality.
