(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of Board of Directors of Saudi Standards and Quality Organization, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, opened here today Regional Forum for Executive Directors of Arab Standards Bodies organized by International Organization for Standardization 'ISO' in cooperation with the Saudi Organization.
Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Al-Rabia said that ISO selected the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for holding the three-day forum to exchange information and experiences between countries, strengthen regional cooperation, discuss the challenges facing national standardization bodies in the Arab region, and increase effective participation of Arab countries in the technical works of the International Organization for Standardization.
