Kuwait- Court orders MoE, CSC to pay employee KD 205 perks monthly


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Division Ten of Administrative Court presided over by Judge Emad Al-Habib ordered Ministry of Education and Civil Service Commission to pay KD 175 supervision and KD 30 incentive allowances to a ministry employee on a monthly basis, as well as allowances from May 27th 2010 in a case filed by the latter. According to the court files, the plaintiff was working on a second contract as the head of a department at a school in Jahra. On Nov 27, 2001, the Undersecretary of Ministry of Education had issued the decision to establish administrative departments in schools with specific responsibilities. On 27 May 2010, the Civil Service Commission issued the decision to pay professional allowances to Kuwaiti employees in public sector, as well as KD 175 supervision allowance on monthly basis for second contract employees and KD 30 allowance for departmental heads. Plaintiff Lawyer Mohammad Abazera'e informed the court that the ministry had wrongly deprived his client of the benefits stated in both decisions.
