Middle Island Resources chairman buys 200,000 shares on market


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Middle Island Resources (ASX:MDI) chairman Peter Thomas has bought 200,000 shares in the company in an on market transaction valued at A$24,000. This works out to an average of $0.12 per share. He now holds 3.2 million fully paid ordinary shares and 2 million unlisted options exercisable at $0.25 each expiring on 30 June 2015. Middle Island recently concluded an agreement with AMI Resources (TSX: AMU) to earn a 70% interest in AMI's rights to three granted gold exploration permits and one permit application in Niger. It also has the Reo project in Burkina Faso and 100% interest in five permits and a 75% in the sixth permit in Liberia.
