(MENAFN- Arab Times) Two foreigners and an Arab woman were arrested for swindling a number of citizens and expatriates.
Acting on information that the three suspects were making telephone calls to citizens and expatriates while extracting from them airtime cards, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Brigadier Mahmoud Al-Tabakh formed a team of officers tasked to put the trio under surveillance.
The team closely monitored the activities of the suspects, leading to their arrest. During interrogation, one of them admitted that they have conned several Kuwaitis and expatriates through the Arab woman who seduced the victims by phone as she promised to go out with them to allow her two accomplices to steal airtime.|
