 | China's electronics trade up 3.3% in Jan-Oct  | |

(MENAFN) China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) stated that in the January-October period, the value of the country's electronics trade rose 3.3 percent from 2011's same period to USD954.6 billion, reported Xinhua News.
The ministry said that in the 10-month period, exports of electronic products gained 3.9 percent reaching USD559.7 billion, a rise of 0.5 percentage points from that in the January-September period.
On the other hand, imports of electronic goods went up 2.5 percent, reaching USD394.9 billion.
Nevertheless, exports of home appliances fell 7.9 percent to USD71.6 billion.
It added that even though shipments of electronic devices increased 11.6 percent to USD69.6 billion, however, exports of electronic materials slumped 20.8 percent to USD4.4 billion.
Telecommunication equipment exports jumped 12.9 percent from a year ago to USD115.8 billion, whereas those of computers rose 1.9 percent, reaching USD191.5 billion.
