(MENAFN - Arab News) The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (JCCI) investment arm Foras Investment Company signed an agreement to found a company that recruits foreign workers in Saudi Arabia in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates' Dulsco, a provider of human resources solutions, on Wednesday. The new company aims to provide trained manpower capable of accomplishing projects and provide solutions in all fields.
Saleh Kamel, chairman of JCCI, signed the agreement with Abdulaziz Khan, Dulsco's chairman, at the Dubai Chamber offices in the presence of a number of Saudi and Emirati businessmen. The two parties agreed on the strategic cooperation in founding the new establishment in Saudi Arabia. Through the agreement, the JCCI aims to benefit from the expertise and qualifications enjoyed by its UAE partner in the field of human resources development.
Dulsco will help the new company put in place an integrated system for managing human resources, financial, marketing and customer service systems as well as training workers, in addition to any other requirements for the foundation of the new company.
The agreement will contribute to building relations with labor companies and governments in countries that export labor and in creating a database for labor-exporting companies and countries. It will help in selecting a director for the new company, providing support and relevant instructions for the new company's recruitment network and general affairs department, and providing support to its information technology department. The two parties
will work on achieving the goal for the which the agreement was struck.
Abdul Rahman Saif Al-Ghurair, chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, considered the agreement a partnership of a special kind that will benefit both parties. The Dubai Chamber's role in that regard is essential as it is committed to facilitate communication between Dubai companies and the chamber's strategic partners like the JCCI, he said, adding that the chamber's goal is to support business growth in Dubai.
Dulsco's head Abdulaziz Khan said his 75-year-old company has proved a leader in the sector as it won the Best Facilities Management Service
Provider award and the Leadership Award in Facilities Management. The JCCI is one of the oldest chambers of commerce in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region.
