Sudan, China to set up free trade zone


(MENAFN) Sudanese Minister of Agriculture, Abdel Halim al-Mutafi, stated that China agreed to set up a free trade zone for agricultural products in the African country, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). Al-Mutafi said that the move would boost trade between the two nations, noting that China is Sudan's biggest funding country. He added that funding made by China contributed to the notable increase in Sudan's agriculture products. It is worth noting that Sudan is aiming at strengthening the role of China in the country.
