Work on road to Burj A'Sahwa to begin soon 

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Muscat Municipality has awarded the contract for the expansion of the road network leading to the Burj A'Sahwa roundabout.According to a press release, work is expected to begin soon and includes the addition of a fourth lane to the road in Sultan Qaboos Street from Al Mawaleh junction to Muscat Airport.The release said that the project is part of the municipality's efforts to ease movement of traffic and come up with solutions to enhance safety on roads, especially in Seeb and Muscat.The regions of South Mawaleh, South Al Hail and Al Khoud witness frequent traffic congestion, and thus an additional lane will help in increasing the capacity of the road, the release said. Culverts will also be constructed on both sides of the road and before the Burj A'Sahwa roundabout, it added.
