German Software AG has enough liquidity to make up to USD1b acquisition


(MENAFN) German business software maker Software AG assured that its has sufficient liquidity to make buyouts of up to USD1.30 billion, Reuters reported. A German weekly quoted finance director Arnd Zinnhardt as saying that the company is so well positioned in terms of its operating activities and balance sheet that they could theoretically make a big acquisition of up to USD1.30 billion. Three year ago, Software made a USD631.8 million acquisition of business process management software maker IDS Scheer. The report added that Zinnhardt does not rule out another acquisition next year. The company is looking to buy companies which are in the business of cloud computing or in big data analysis, he added.
