Muscat Hosts 1st Gulf Businesswomen Forum Next December 

(MENAFN - Qatar News Agency) The first Gulf Businesswomen Forum will be held in Muscat on 16 December 2012 in the presence of a large number of Gulf businesswomen.

The main organizing committee said that the preparations to host the first edition of the forum in Oman are going very well as planned, according to Oman News Agency. Organized by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in collaboration with the Federation of the GCC Chambers, the forum attracts a large number of Gulf businesswomen, in addition to elite speakers.

It will cover four main themes namely ' Interest in youth is the Way to Build Sustainable Economy, Integrating Economic Role of women by Instilling the Culture of Creativity and Innovation, Economic Growth Through Leadership and Education and Integration of the Gulf Strategies to Achieve More Successes in Women Work.

The specialized working papers will discuss a number of possible means and methods for building a promising generation in leadership work, financial subsidy for youth projects in the GCC countries between reality and prospects, Gulf chambers of commerce and Industry and their role in promoting Gulf woman, the need to promote the contributions of youths in the sustainable economic development, empowerment of women in public life through more education and training, the skills required by businesswomen to reach the decision making posts, enhancing the role of Gulf woman in taking economic decision, the role of woman in economic development in the GCC countries, as well as the available investment fields and opportunities at the GCC countries.

It is worth mentioning that the Forum includes bilateral and roundtable meetings, in addition to organizing an associated exhibition to showcase the major works by Gulf women and the women leading enterprises at the different sectors.
