Taylor Wessing wins legal advisor of the year award at UAE's first solar awards

Taylor Wessing (Middle East) LLP last week was presented the Legal Advisor of the Year Award at the Emirates Solar Industry Association's (ESIA) inaugural solar awards.

The award recognises Taylor Wessing's outstanding advocacy for clean energy in the UAE and its position as one of the world's foremost legal advisors to companies in the sustainability sector. The firm's clients in Europe, the Middle East and Asia are, in many cases, leaders of their respective industries, including renewable energy, e-mobility and sustainable construction techniques.

Commenting on the accolade, Dr Michael Krmer, Senior Associate and Energy Specialist at Taylor Wessing said: "We are delighted to win this prestigious award reflecting the confidence and trust that the ESIA's members have in our work. The award was created by the association to celebrate the outstanding achievements made by local businesses, government entities and individuals who are pioneering a new sustainable economy in the Emirates.
