Sirius Resources: infill drilling continues


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Sirius Resources (ASX:SIR) is continuing to infill drill at the Nova deposit and test adjacent EM conductors. With this, the continuity of the deposit is further advanced with visual and assayed intercepts like these: - 2.23 metres @ 2.58% nickel and 0.86% copper from 331.8 metres, - 12.1 metres @ 0.86% nickel and 0.51% copper from 343.9 metres and - 22 metres @ 1.01% nickel and 1.05% copper from 365 metres in SFRD0103, at the lower end of the mineralised zone. The first special purpose metallurgical hole has been completed and metallurgical testwork has commenced. Drilling will continue to test the area of conductor 5 and the IP anomaly that trends northeast from this point. Preparations are also underway to commence drilling other targets including conductor 2 once site preparations have been completed. Conductors 4 and 5 were also drilled, the former drilled 50 metres south of SFRD0099 on conductor 4, did not intersect any sulphides. Conductor 5 Hole SFRD0122, drilled 40 metres down dip from SFRD0115 on the 900N line, intersected 14.65 metres of disseminated to blebby sulphides from 337.75 metres and followed by 0.55 metres of stringer sulphides from 352.4 metres.
