Kuwait- KD 5,000, 2 phones stolen from shepherd


(MENAFN- Arab Times) An Asian shepherd was reportedly kidnapped and robbed by unknown persons on the Sixth Ring Road, opposite Jahra Industrial Area. In his complaint to officers in Taima police station, the shepherd explained a sum of KD 5,000 and two mobile phones were taken by force. According to security sources, the Asian was walking along the Sixth Ring Road when suddenly the thieves intercepted and dragged him into their vehicle and stole the aforementioned amount, while on his way to purchase sheep. The thieves then pushed the shepherd out of their vehicle at Jahra Industrial area and fled. Unfortunately, the victim couldn't provide police with details of the suspects and number plate of their vehicle, but a case has been registered and investigation is ongoing to trail them. Meanwhile, Jahra security operatives recovered a salon car which was stolen from one automobile agency. Earlier, a case was filed reporting an unknown person had broken entry to the agency and stole the 2012 model salon car worth thousands of dinars. Securitymen were able to locate the vehicle in Jahra area with a US registration number and discovered it was stolen after checking its details. Fingerprints were lifted to trail the suspects.
