Kuwait- Drugs found on Pakistani


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Customs officers at the Abdali border post recently foiled an attempt by a Pakistani man to smuggle a quantity of hashish. The drug was hidden inside his vehicle coming from Iraq, reports Al-Rai daily. Meanwhile, an unidentified Syrian man who was arrested by the Abdali Customs officers has been detained at the Qashaniya Police Station, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the suspect was carrying on his person KD 5,000 in cash but some of them forged KD 20 banknotes. According to security sources the Syrian arrived from Iraq and since he was carrying a large sum of Kuwaiti money, it aroused the suspicion of Customs officials.
