(MENAFN - Emirates News Agency (WAM)) His Highness the Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call yesterday from Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi.

They exchanged views over the Israeli air raids on Gaza Strip that killed and injured scores of Palestinian citizens, as well as destroying houses and installations.

The Kuwait News Agency "KUNA" said that the two leaders asserted importance of quick action to stop the Israeli aggression, and to hold the international community responsible for the blatant Israeli assault, and to protect the unarmed Palestinians, achieve peace, and enforcing security and stability in the occupied Palestinian territories.
