(MENAFN- Arab News) A GCC citizen and two Bedoun youths were arrested recently in Khaitan for consumption and possession of drugs.
According to security sources, while securitymen were patrolling Khaitan, they noticed an American-made vehicle with three occupants parked on the side of the road and approached it for checking.
When the driver noticed the patrol vehicle, he sped from the location and refused to stop when securitymen ordered him to do so. Securitymen chased and stopped him and checked their identities to discover the driver is a GCC expatriate while the other two are Bedoun youths.
Sensing their disoriented state, securitymen checked the vehicle and found 2 pieces of hashish, 40 narcotic pills, a sensitive weighing scale for measuring drugs and other equipments for drug intake as well as a large sum of money.
Securitymen arrested them and referred them with the items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
