(MENAFN- Arab News) Police have arrested an unidentified Pakistani man in connection with fraud, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources the man was taken into custody after police received information that the man was cashing forged cheques from various locations.
Armed with a search and arrest warrant police then raided the man's apartment in Farwaniya and found in his possession several forged cheques which he admitted to bringing into the country from an unidentified Asian country.
The man and the cheques have been referred to the concerned authorities for further investigation.
