(MENAFN- Arab News) A Kuwaiti citizen, two juvenile brothers and a Syrian expatriate were arrested recently in Salmiya for consumption of alcohol and possession of an imported liquor bottle.
According to security sources, while Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salmiya, they stopped a vehicle and checked the details of the four occupants to discover the driver is a Kuwaiti citizen, while two are juvenile brothers and the other is a Syrian expatriate.
Detecting the smell of alcohol from them, securitymen checked the vehicle to find an imported liquor bottle, which confirmed that the suspects were consuming liquor inside the vehicle.
They were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
