(MENAFN) The Chinese Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced that last month, the country's fiscal revenues jumped 13.7 percent from a year ago to USD165.10 billion, reported Xinhua News.

The ministry said that the figure is compared with a gain of 11.9 percent posted in September.

It added that central fiscal revenues reached USD81.53 billion in October, showing a yearly increase of 8.9 percent.

In the January-October period, fiscal revenues went up by 11.2 percent from a year ago, reaching USD1.60 trillion.

It is worth noting that China's tax revenues reached USD1.38 trillion in 2012's first 10 months, posting a rise of 9 percent from a year earlier.
