Of these, 300 tickets were given to e-forums while 500 were distributed among school students in the governorate of Muscat, according to an NYC statement.Around 500 tickets were given to the Ministry of Higher Education, which distributed them to its employees and higher education institutions. The Omani Journalists Association (OJA) has arranged for the distribution of 100 tickets through a raffle on the daily radio programme Youth Morning, broadcast on Radio Sultanate of Oman.OJA chairman Awadh Baqwair said, ''The initiative is part of OJA's efforts to support the Omani national Team. OJA alw-ays seeks to contribute at such events. We wish all the best for our national team in the match and hope lady luck supports them until the Brazil World Cup.''In the governorate of North Batinah, Orpic (Oman Oil Ref-ineries and Petroleum Industries Company), donated 1,000 tickets to the Sohar, Assalam and Majees clubs from North Batinah. The company's initiative includes the provision of transport and meals for fans.''About 800 people have registered for the free tickets, which will be distributed on the day of the match,'' Abdulaziz al Rashdi, the corporate communications services manager at Orpic, said in a statement. He added that Orpic has also taken part in similar initiatives earlier by supporting and sponsoring local teams. The Youth Morning show also donated 50 tickets for people to attend the match. ''We gave away 50 tickets through the studio on the Youth Morning programme."This is the first initiative of its kind by a radio show as they are normally carried out by companies and civil organisations,'' radio show host Suha Zahran al Ruqishi claimed.
