(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Four Syrians who were injured by hostilities in their country died of their wounds after they were transferred, along with 22 wounded people, to Turkey, security sources said Tuesday.
NTV quoted the sources as saying the wounded Syrians arrived in Turkey following fierce confrontations between government forces and opposition Free Syrian Army in Idleb.
Four of the injured died of their wounds once they reached the hospital, they added.
The security situation is still tense at the common borders between Turkey and Syria.
Meanwhile, Turkish authorities set up a field hospital to treat the wounded Syrian people who fled the conflict in their country.
A field hospital was erected in the border town of Ceylanpinar to receive the injured Syrians, the office of the governor of Sanliurfa province said in a statement.
Authorities decided to set up the hospital due to the increasing number of injured Syrian civilians.
Ceylanpinar town is 300 meters away from the borders.
