Kuwait- Egyptian stabbed to death, cash stolen


(MENAFN- Arab Times) An Egyptian expatriate died when an unknown individual stabbed him in the chest and stole his money at a livestock pen in Kabad. When the Operations Room of Interior Ministry received information from a laborer of a livestock pen in Kabad about a man lying on the ground and bleeding, Ahmadi securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and examined the victim only to discover he is dead. Initial investigations revealed that the victim was an Egyptian expatriate, who was strangled and later stabbed in the chest. The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department for autopsy. Ahmadi securitymen lifted fingerprints from the crime scene. Evidences revealed that the suspect stole the victim's money. Securitymen obtained records from the radar that was set on Kabad Road. A number of laborers were summoned to the police station for interrogations. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspect. Security sources revealed that securitymen completed investigations with some laborers and took down their statements, using which the suspect is likely to be arrested soon.
