This summer Britain hosted the world's biggest Games. Now it is launching the world's biggest invite with a new marketing campaign from British Airways and VisitBritain aimed at the UK's fastest growing tourism markets. The new campaign is being launched with special fares from British Airways, offering travel from the UAE for as little as AED 2,780 return.
'The Big British Invite' campaign features 'real' British people inviting UAE holiday makers to visit Britain to enjoy their favourite places and experiences.

Ambassadors include the Chief Yeoman Warder of the Tower of London, where the Crown Jewels are kept, and the Managing Director of Liberty's, the world-famous emporium for savvy and sophisticated shopping.

The first phase of the multi-million pound campaign begins this week with print and digital advertising; the second phase will be even bigger.

"This summer billions of people all around the world watched Britain stage an amazing party," said VisitBritain CEO Sandie Dawe. "Now is their chance to experience it for themselves. The friendly welcome that they saw on their TV screens is here to stay, and as well as London, Britain offers three whole countries to explore."
"With our true British experts to showcase the best things to do and see in the UK, British Airways is excited to welcome visitors from the UAE to experience the very best of British architecture, culture, dining and shopping," said Paolo De Renzis, Area Commercial Manager, Middle East and Central Asia at British Airways.

"Our extensive network enables visitors to make convenient connections throughout the UK, so customers can enjoy all that Britain has to offer," added De Renzis.

British Airways' special fare offer for UAE travellers will mark the launch of the campaign. Customers can fly to London at special discounted fares if they book between 12-30 November*. The fares are applicable for First, Club World (business class), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and World Traveller (economy) and are valid for travel before 31 March 2013.

Customers are urged to book early as seats are limited. For more details and to book flights to the UK please visit ba.com.
