(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Criminal Court on Monday will look into the case filed against former MP Musallam Al-Barrak who has been charged with insulting the status of HH the Amir, violating the emirate's principles and challenging the authority of the Amir.
The Public Prosecution filed the lawsuit after Al-Barrak allegedly uttered statements deemed offensive to the Amir at a public rally.
He was released on bail of KD1,000 after his lawyer filed a complaint against the decision of the prosecution.
