Omani, IAEA experts review study for energy cooperation


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Omani experts and counterparts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) examined here on Sunday a joint study for future harnessing of diverse resources of energy. The study was reviewed during a seminar, themed "Options of future production of electricity and water in the Sultanate of Oman," organized by the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The study, which had been worked out by a number of experts of the international agency and Omani experts from the power and water sector, as part of a long-term technical cooperation project, included scenarios and potential options for future production of power, water desalination, with harnessing various resources such as wind and solar energy.
