Car sales in China down 4.48% in Oct 

(MENAFN) The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) announced that last month, car output in the country fell 4.48 percent from September to 1.59 million units, reported Xinhua News.

However, auto sales in October dipped 0.73 percent from a month earlier to 1.61 million vehicles.

On annual basis, car production slipped to just 1.1 percent in October, while car sales went up 5.3 percent.

It is worth noting that auto production in the first 10 months of the year grew 4.6 percent from a year ago to 15.72 million units, whereas sales edged up 3.6 percent to 15.7 million vehicles.
