Greece to receive USD40b bailout tranche: FinMin

(MENAFN) Greece's Finance Minister, Yannis Stournaras, said he's sure that his country will receive the next USD40 billion bailout tranche from the European Union (EU) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) creditors, reported Xinhua News. Stournaras said that Athens has carried out its commitments, therefore, Europe will also act in view of that and the tranche will be released. Nevertheless, German Finance Minister, Wolfgang Scheuble, indicated that the release of the installment under bailout deals inked with Greece since 2010 will be postponed. It is worth noting that without the fresh international financing, Greece's cash reserves would be ended on November 16, which might lead to a Greek bankruptcy.
