Kuwait- Iranian, Saudi held with 850 drug pills


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Police have arrested an unidentified Iranian man for possessing 800 drug pills, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the man arrived from Iran and he was taken into custody when he was aboard the ferry. During interrogation he admitted to possessing the drug pills. He also said the pills are for his consumption and the sponsor is aware of this fact. He has been handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control. Meanwhile, personnel from the Drugs Enforcement Administration have arrested an unidentified Saudi citizen for possessing 50 narcotics pills, reports Al-Rai daily. The suspect was arrested at an unidentified location by the Southern Highway Patrol while on routine duty in the area. The daily added the Saudi was caught on suspicion because he tried to avoid the police patrol. When he was finally ordered to pull over, police found in his possession the drug pills. He has been handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control.
