(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, said Emirati women have made great achievements in all walks of life, becoming members of the Federal National Council and ministers, thanks to the continued support of the UAE's wise leadership, led by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates.
This came when Shaikh Humaid received at his office in the Emiri Court, on Thursday, Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of Social Affairs, who briefed him on the latest arrangements and equipment for the new social service centre in Ajman. Shaikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman was present during the meeting.
Al Roumi gave a detailed presentation of the services, programmes and plans offered by the ministry in Ajman.
The Ruler praised the efforts of the Ministry's officials led by Mariam Al Roumi, in the implementation of projects that would develop services in the emirate.
He also highlighted the importance of providing more social services for women, the elderly and the disabled including excellent health care along with provision of a decent life for them.
