Tsujii joins St. Regis teamas the in-house resident DJ for the beachfront resort,after years of being steeped in the electronica scene, spending much of the past year in Germany, sharing the decks with the likes of Ivan Dalia and performing at the DMY International Design Festival at Berlin Tempelhof Airport.
Prior to her time in Germany, Tsujii entertained her genre lovers at Tokyo's Microcosmos, a spacious caf-turned-nightclub, where surprise guest DJs have included Francois K, Danny Krivit and Derrick May. She was also heard on the airwaves on YES FM and has performed sets at countless Tokyo events, including one in honor of the late Michael Jackson at La Fabrique and a few by World Connection, alongside The Martinez Brothers and Robert Owens.
DJ Masako is excited to now bring her love for lounge to Saadiyat guests and residents alike, as they bask in her beats while enjoying a myriad of signature cocktails at Turquoiz, a vibrant venue that embodies the turquoise blue ocean that surrounds the island of Saadiyat.
The beachside venue is set apart from the hotel as a rustic series of buildings strung out along the pristine, white sand and featuring a large sunset terrace that prides itself on breathtaking sunset views. Guests can indulge and relish a large selection of mojitos,fresh seafood, light meals and sumptuous snacks, cooked with simplicity and passion by Chef IshtiaqMirza.
