UAE- Man arrested for kidnap, attempted rape of girl 

(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) The Sharjah Police, on Wednesday, arrested an Arab man who kidnapped and attempted raping an Iranian high school girl while she was waiting for her school bus near her residence in Al Nasseriya area.

The police found the man to have criminal records and was involved in similar crimes earlier.

According to the police an unknown person kidnapped the girl by forcing her into his car while she was waiting for her school bus at 7am. Based on the complaint and description of the man provided by the girl, the police suspected a man who had been involved in a similar crime earlier in the same area. The suspect was arrested from his residence and he confessed that he had asked the girl to allow him to drop her to school.

When the girl refused to get into the car, he decided to pull her into the car by force. He convinced her that his intention was to drop her off to her school and she calmed down as she sat in the front seat. He then started molesting her and tried to rape her, but when she started screaming loudly, he pushed her out of his car and drove away.
