(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Oman coach Paul Le Guen will try out various combinations, primarily in defence, during Thursday's friendly against Estonia at home, which will be followed by the all-important FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifier against visiting Japan on November 14.The match against Estonia will kick off at 3.30pm at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.Oman has a couple of worries going into the two matches. Its experienced rightback Saad Suhail will sit out due to disciplinary reasons and centreback Mohammed Sheeba is yet to recover from an injury he sustained during Oman's 2-1 home win against Jordan on October 16.Speaking to Muscat Daily on Tuesday, Le Guen said, The friendly against Estonia is very important. Before playing Jordan, we had played a friendly against Yemen and it had helped us a lot. Against Estonia, I will try out all possible combinations. But losing Suhail for such an important game is a big blow while Sheeba is yet to recover.Estonia is currently ranked 69th in the world while Oman is 95th.The Oman team is currently undergoing a camp in Muscat, involving 24 local players. If Sheeba is declared fit, he can play in place of Suhail, Le Guen said. Rashid al Farsi, Al Arouba's defender who is in this camp, is also a choice, but he still has to improve a lot. I will keep an eye on each of the local players during the Estonia game and decide on the best combination for the Japan match.Speaking about Asian Cup champion Japan, the Oman coach said, I saw the Japan vs France friendly last month, which Japan won 1-0. We are closely following Japan's matches, we are doing whatever needs to be done before we face them.Meanwhile, Dhofar midfielder Hussain al Hadhri is trying to make a comeback after staying out of action for a long time. He missed Oman's previous game, but is training with the team now.I feel much better, I am enjoying training again, Hadhri said. I was away from football for more than a month and it is good to be back.Oman team manager Mohammed Alawi said, Sheeba joined the camp today, but he won't train yet. He will undergo medical tests and will spend time with the medical staff for a few days. We hope he will be fit for the Japan match.
