Royal Jordanian suspends operations to Muscat 

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) will suspend operations from Amman to Muscat with effect from November 17.''Operations have been suspended due to commercial reasons,'' RJ CEO Amer Hadidi was quoted as saying in a press release.He also said that the airline and Oman Air are now working on a code sharing agreement to allow travel between the two cities under the RJ umbrella.RJ currently operates four weekly flights between the two cities. Oman Air, which operates seven weekly flights on the Muscat-Amman route, will keep running its service, wherein seats will be marketed by both the airlines.Basel Kilani, media and communication spokesman for RJ, said, ''RJ will work to market Oman Air seats on the Amman-Muscat route. There used to be 11 weekly flights on this route, which will come down to seven  after November 17. The decision will have a positive impact on the financial condition of both the airlines.''
