Kuwaiti Jazeera Airways' Q3 profit jumps 24.6%


(MENAFN) Jazeera Airways Group Chairman, Marwan Boodai, stated that the carrier's third-quarter net profit jumped 24.6 percent from last year's same period to USD26.9 million, reported Arabian Business. Boodai said that in the period, operating revenue for the Kuwait-based company went up 5.9 percent, reaching USD72.27 million. Furthermore, in the January-September period, the carrier, which was founded in 2005, posted a total revenue of USD172.54 million, representing a rise of 9.3 percent from 2011's same period. It is worth noting that Jazeera Airways Group is listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, with a fleet of 12 fully owned Airbus A320s, distributed between its airline business Jazeera Airways and its leasing-arm Sahaab Aircraft Leasing.
