Port of Salalah wins CSR award 

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Port of Salalah recently won the Containerisation International Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award 2012 for the company's environmental and community focus that exemplifies corporate sector leadership in engaging its employees and local community.Port of Salalah had been shortlisted for two categories, 'Corporate Social Responsibility' and 'Investment in People' by Containerisation International, one of the most respected journals in the world of shipping.Other finalists in these two categories included Sociedad Portuaria Regional Cartagena, DP World, PD Ports and Port of Tyne, a press release said.Peter Ford, CEO at Port of Salalah, who received the award at a function in London, said, ''We are extremely honoured to win this award, which I would like to dedicate to each one of our 2,221 employees."This is a tribute to the significance and impact you make by connecting and caring about people and environment.
