Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates “The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi will celebrate the art, culture and cuisine of Indonesia during a week-long festival at its alluring Southeast Asian dining venue, Sontaya, from Wednesday 28 November until Thursday 6 December.Sontaya is the resort's seductively beautiful venue that is set amongst a series of floating pavilions that look out to the beach and across the turquoise Arabian Gulf.
During the festival, mesmerizing traditional Balinese dancers will performance every evening from 7.30pm, whileguests savor Indonesian specialties prepared by Sontaya's very ownchefs. Featuring flavors from across the country, the four-course sharing menuwill highlight the tantalizing sweet tangs of West Java to the seductive nutty aromas from Bali.
In addition to the distinctive Indonesian melodies and captivating dances such as the Joged and Gopala Dance from Bali, the festival will include live demonstrations of traditional Indonesian handmade crafts, including giving guests the opportunity to learn anyaman, the sophisticated and intricate Indonesian art of weaving that has flourished for generations.
The set menu costs AED 285 per person and is subject to applicable taxes and fees.
