Great Western Exploration negotiates with Kazakh government entity


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Great Western Exploration's (ASX:GTE) shares have been suspended following a request from the company pending its negotiations with TKS Samruk over the Spasskaya Copper Joint Venture. Tau Ken Samruk is the holding company for the Kazakh government's stakes in some of the country's largest metals and mining companies. GTE has entered into a 50:50 JV with Kazakhstan's National Mining Company, Tau-ken Samruk to explore and develop the Spasskaya Copper Project located 200 kilometres southeast of the state capital, Astana. The suspension will last until an announcement is made or within two weeks.
