(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Police and family have grave fears for the life of a missing young diabetic man who was taken to a remote area and left there by two other young men who were under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Dubai Police General Department of Criminal Investigation Director Birgadier Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri said on Monday that police had detained two young UAE nationals who left 21-year-old fellow UAE national Nasser Ali Nasser in a remote part of Dubai, more than a week ago on October 28. He said the two youths, who had a criminal record, could not show the police the place in which they had left the man, as they were too far affected by alcohol and drugs at the time of the incident. Al Mansouri said based on the confession of the men, who had first accompanied the man to Ajman, Al Dhaid and Al Munai, among other places, the Dubai Police launched a search for Nasser and would not stop searching until they found him. Brigadier Saleh Al Rahoomi, director of Al Rashidiya police station, said, "We need people to cooperate with the police if the have any information or any details about him or they know the whereabouts of the missing young man."
