Kuwaiti beaten


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti citizen was injured in the head, with additional fractures to his right hand during a fight with a Syrian expatriate in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. Security sources said the Kuwaiti citizen parked his vehicle in front of a shopping complex in the area, and later the Syrian also parked his car behind. They explained the fight broke out when the citizen asked the Syrian to remove his car and the latter declined his request. He is said to have reached to his car, brought out an object and hit on the citizen's head with it, leaving the man bleeding profusely. Passersby intervened and called the Operations Room to report the incident, and a team of rescue officers rushed to the scene where they found the citizen sitting on a pavement and bleeding. He was referred to the Farwaniya Hospital by paramedics, and the Syrian expatriate was arrested and detained in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh police station, pending his referral to Public Prosecution.
