(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced on Sunday a USD 25.0 rise for November's prices of liquified petroleum gases, propane and butane.

The price of propane per metric tonne increased USD 25.0 since October to USD 1,050 per metric tonne while butane will be sold at USD 990, with an equal increase of USD 25.0, KPC told KUNA in a statement.

LPG prices are not affected by the global prices of oil and are currently witnessing an increase due to various geopolitical and technical factors, added the statement.

KPC is a state-owned entity responsible for Kuwait's hydrocarbon interests throughout the world.
