(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Facilities management company Emrill on Sunday announced the launch of Emrill Energy, which will help residential consumers and businesses save over 40 per cent of energy consumption in the UAE.

Emrill has joined hands with two leading energy companies, Ireland's Crowley Carbon and the UK's CES, to launch the new entity.

The partnership will provide entire energy management solutions from consultancy and design to installation and monitoring. The new company aims to make buildings in the country most efficient in terms of energy consumption for residential units as well as businesses, according to top officials of both companies.

"This partnership is very important for us for a number of reasons," Emrill managing director Ben Churchill told Khaleej Times in after at a Press briefing.

"The partnership provides an extensive range of facilities from residential developments to industrial complexes with innovative and effective energy solutions that result in significant savings," he said.

Overall, there will be up to 40 per cent savings in energy or even more than that, depending on the kind of building, he said. "We guarantee this saving to our customers." The company has evidence of more than 80 per cent of energy savings in some buildings, Churchill claimed.

Talking about the cost involved for installation of products for power consumption, he said there would be a project cost depending on the size of the building and generally, "we can payback it from anywhere ranging from eight months to two years, depending on the project size."

The company provides services to more than 12,000 residential customers and up to 200 businesses in the country, according to Churchill. "We will offer this service to our existing customers and new customers as well," he added.

He mentioned that this year is much better than 2011 as the company recorded significant growth over last year. "We have grown over 20 per cent in 2012 and 2013 looks to replicate that again," he said.

Emrill Energy brings together the total energy management expertise of CES and energy engineering from Crowley Carbon Services to provide 26 years of experience and an unparalleled track record with some of the world's most prestigious organisations, including Vodafone, Pfizer and the UK Ministry of Defence.

"We identified the incredible potential buildings and premises have to minimise their impact on the environment and achieve cost reductions. Emrill Energy allows us to take our commitment to sustainability further and lead the green revolution through facilities management by providing the most technologically advanced and effective solutions across the UAE," Churchill said.

"Energy efficiency is a global concern and we are delighted to have found the right partnership with Emrill and CES. Emrill Energy's unique service provides tailor made energy management solutions with an extensive product portfolio from different vendors to ensure the best fit and combination for each specific Client's requirements and objectives to maximise energy efficiency," Crowley Carbon chairman Norman Crowley said.
